Boise Tree Captains
Borah has been identified as a ‘high priority’ for tree canopy restoration. Boise Tree Captains are looking for volunteers to enhance the health of Boise neighborhoods through tree planting, advocacy, and stewardship.

Borah Park Deed Restriction
The City of Boise held a Work Session on November 15th, 2022 and Borah Park was identified as a park that was lacking in protections with its use. The council added deed restrictions to Borah Park among others to protect the open space. Borah Park and the adjacent undeveloped area slated for the park expansion will be protected in perpetuity.

Boise Districting Commission
The Boise Districting Commission was tasked with creating districts throughout the city that upheld precincts, census blocks, and other legal mandates. On November 16th, 2022 the committee forwarded Map 11 to be considered by City Council. This map will be presented to council on November 29th, 2022 and final adoption is anticipated in December 2022. Map 11 kept the Borah Neighborhood boundaries intact.
